I've got a ton of reports that effectively have 3 parameters
FranchiseID
Period
Year
Even though period and year parameters have no parameters that point to
franchise, I always have to select a period before I can choose a year.
I don't see anywhere in the report designer to say this parameter is
100% independent of the others and doesn't matter what the others are.
is there a place in the UI I've just magically never seen?
Thanks in advance. On the parameter setup page you can set the precedence by selecting a
parameter and using the up/down arrows to change the order. So by moving year
to first position you can select the year first. This assumes that year and
quarter are not generated by a common data source request.
Let me know if I have interpreted your question incorrectly.
