rsinternal error The profile for the user is a temporary profile.

HI,
When I type http://w2kserver1/Reports
I get rsInternalerror with msg
The profile for the user is a temporary profile
and the same for http://w2kserver1/Reportserver.
I'm not sure where to start to try to solve this issue.
I am new to SQL Reporting Services, but plan to use it extensively.
I didn't install it originally, so I'm not sure where to start.
What should I check first? What profile they are talking about?
All help is very greatly appreciated.

Robert HansenI have the same problem and I still haven't found a solution, but I'll pass
all the info I've got so far:
I am assuming that you are installing on a W2K SP4 machine, now, according
to this forum: http://dbforumz.com/-Report-Server-ftopict70733.html the
problem is the IWAM account on the machine, the SP4 changed the security
settings for this account and cannot impersonate
Check this two KB articles from Microsoft about how to change the settings
on the IWAM account:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821546/EN-US/
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824308/en-us
I'm currently at this point. The idea is: once you have changed the account
settings, try to activate the RS (rsactivate.exe) and see if it helps. Check
the discussion in the forum for anything else I may have missed.
If your W2K machine is a domain controller or a backup domain controller...
well you are in the same situation as I am. I cannot see (let alone modify)
the domain policy
Hope anything of this helps
Regards,

Controller.. However, I came up with the UPDATED documentation of RS (at
www.msdn.com) and worked like a champ.
I encourage you to read the intallation section of the RS books online,
specially the new section "Preparing to Install" it saved my life
