RS separately from SQL (express) 2005

Hi,
there's a package of the RS installable without SQL (express) 2005 ?
Thanks
AdrianoAdriano,
The publicity material and the product are a little out of step for
SQL Server 2005 Express.
The build of SQL Server 2005 Express Edition that should be launched
next month doesn't include Reporting Services.
There will some sort of update for Express Edition, maybe by mid 2006,
which will include limited Reporting Services functionality.
I don't think any dates have been announced yet.

Server Express Edition, then FREE (see the page
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/2005/productinfo/sql2005features.mspx).
Now, your answer generates confusion in me:
why MS publics a "SQL Server 2005 Features Comparison" including SQL Server
Express Edition ?
Further, Reporting Services is FREE or NOT ?
Thanks

release schedule for Express but I have not been following it since I don't
use Express.
Key points: Nothing is released yet. When it is, according to the link you
provided, RS will be supported with the Express product, with the caveat
that the data must exists locally on the same machine and relational only
(no cubes).
Second point: RS is not free. It is part of SQL Server. So it depends on the
version licensed. Just to be clear, since Express is free, then the version
with Express is free. But notice that there are limits to the use of RS with
Express(the data is local to machine). It is not free for all versions. For
instance, for Standard you need a standard SQL license. Enterprise you need
an enterprise license.
Also, Visual Studio 2005 will have winform and webform controls that can
work in stand alone mode, no server necessary. Give it a report and a
dataset and away it goes.

now it's all OK (more clear).
How or where (site link, etc.) can I stay tuned to have last updated info
about the question (RS included in Express Edition) ?
Thanks

was indicated that the best place to watch for updates is the SQL
