Hi,
I am running SQL Server 2005 and Windows Vista Ultimate.
I have a simple report with 2 textboxes on the layout: one for the title and
one to display current execution time.
Reports runs ok but when I try and change anything on report
properties->execution (for instance to cache the report for 10 mins) or
properties->history and save changes I get this error:
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

The permissions granted to user 'PP2000\Nataliya' are insufficient for
performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied) (Report Services SOAP Proxy
Source)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The permissions granted to user 'PP2000\Nataliya' are insufficient for
performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied) (ReportingServicesLibrary)

I am logged as Administrator.
Also, if I try and alter permissions for the report on
properties->permissions and press OK the new details are saved ok.
Why I cannot apply changes to execution and history?
Many thanks,
NatIf you are trying to access a local report server (localhost) on vista, right click the Internet Explorer icon and Run as Administrator and that should allow you access.
If you are opening Reporting Server in Ms SQL Studio do the same to open it (right click SQL Server Management Studio and Run as Administrator)
