RS Installation

I have successfully installed RS. However during the installation I was
advised that Visual Studio was a prerequisite on the RS server. I am just
wondering if there is a way that the required components from Visual Studio
can be installed without installing the whole thing.
Any links to documentation or general advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and regards,
Alex McKellarVS is not a prerequisite for the server components. Just ignore the message.
It confuses lots of people. VS is only required for the client tools.

I think that I will have to revisit my installation and start from scratch.
I seem to remember being prompted and choosing not to install VS and then
being booted out of the installation. Definately time to try and go from
the start.
Thanks again,
Alex.

good this time. I just hit next at the prerequisite warning screen and
everything installed fine. No doubt you already knew that anyway :-).
Cheers,
Alex.
